Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Homemaker. Eleanor M. Springman, passed away at the age of 101 on May 29, 2013 at Morristown Medical Center.

Born in Newark, Eleanor lived most of her life in Maplewood, spent retirement in Toms River with her husband until he passed away in 1987 and then moved to Morris Township. She lived in Olde Forge until age 99, when she moved to Merry Heart Assisted Living in Succasunna where she celebrated her 101st birthday.

She was a devoted member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Morris Plains. "Ellie May" brought love and joy into the lives of her family and close friends. She will be sorely missed and fondly remembered. She enjoyed spending time with her family, Thursday's church group at St. Paul's, the card club crew and most recently her Merry Heart friends. She is now at peace and reunited with all those waiting for her to start her life in Heaven.

Eleanor is survived by her devoted daughters, Phyllis Stoeckler and Carol Parr and their husbands Bob and Charlie of Morris Township, her dearest grandchildren Lisa and Richie Grover (predeceased her in 1978), Geoffrey Parr, and his wife Karina and great grandchild Leah Morgan.

Private service for family at home with interment at Somerset Hills in Basking Ridge. Arrangements were under the care of Dangler Funeral Home, Morris Plains.
