Harry Louis Esposito passed away Friday, June 14, 2013 at King James Nursing Home in Chatham, NJ at the age of 85.

Harry was born in Orange, NJ to Venerando and Augusta Esposito in 1928. He lived and raised his children in East Hanover, NJ for 40 years before he moved to Florham Park 11 years ago. He received a bachelor degree in engineering and worked for Abe Fleischer & Sons in W. Orange and Monson Engineering in Fairfield, NJ for 18 years before his retirement.

He was an Army Veteran and a member of the American Legion Post# 364, a founding member of the Young Men's Social Club in Orange, NJ, a past East Hanover P.A.L. football volunteer for many years, he was very dedicated to Mt. Carmel Church in Orange where he was a past Parish Council President, A board member of Mount Carmel Towers and a Eucharistic Minister. Harry was an avid Green Bay packers fan but his greatest love of all was his family.

Harry is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Anne (McGee); loving father of Suzanne Laggy of Flanders, Denise Vitale and her late husband Anthony Vitale of Florham Park , Ella Esposito of Flanders and Harry Esposito and his wife Susan of Fredon. Dear brother of Ella Long of W. Orange and the late Anthony, Samuel and Arthur Esposito. Cherished grandfather of 11 Marisa, Bethanne, Michael, Erika, M'Alee, Harry, Makenzie, Mark, Grace, Mitchell, and Samuel. Also survived by his beloved pet Cody.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 17th from 4 to 8 PM at Paul Ippolito Summit Memorial 7 Summit Ave., Summit. The funeral will begin Tuesday, June 18th at 8:45 AM in the funeral home followed by the Funeral Mass celebrated in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Orange, NJ at 10 AM.
