James V. McCauley

James V. McCauley was called by God on December 5, 2012 at his home in Denville. He was 52 years of age. James was born in Morristown and lived his early life in Parsippany graduating from Parsippany Hills High School in 1978. He attended the college of Wooster, Ohio where he was 2nd team all Ohio Small School Linebacker. He completed his college education at Thomas Edison College.

Jim worked 28 years for Pfizer in Parsippany and was presently employed by Dendreon in Morris Plains as a senior materials associate.

Jim was a loyal Dallas Cowboy football fan all his life. He was a trustee of the Indian Lake Community Club, where he was the Sports Director and Manager of the Ladies Softball team. He was also an avid golfer.

He is survived by his wife Cheryl; daughters Heather and Kristen; his parents James and Rosetta McCauley of Toms River, and his sisters, Maryann (Jeff) Kay of Seminole, FL, June (Glenn) Caron of Parsippany and Diane (George) O'Sullivan of Morris Plains and all his nieces, nephews and many lifelong friends.

Jim's funeral will be conducted from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, (please share a memory on website), on Monday December 10th at 9:45 a.m. for an 11 a.m. service at the Parsippany Presbyterian Church, Parsippany, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received on Sunday December 9th at the funeral home from 2 to 6 p.m. The family requests donations to Friends of Jim McCauley Fund C/O 44 West Shore Rd., Denville, NJ 07834 or to the GI/Oncology Research - Dr. Shah, Weill Cornell Medical Center, 1305 York Avenue, 12th Floor, NYNY 10021 in memory of Jim McCauley.
