Jesús "Cano" Santiago, Jr.

AGE: 50 • Dover

Dover: Jesús "Cano" Santiago, Jr. passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at St. Clare's Hospital/Dover General with his family at his side. He was 50 years of age.

Jesús was born in Dover and lived here his entire life. He was a 1982 graduate of Dover High School. Mr. Santiago was the owner of Car Craft Audio and Motor Sports of Dover. Jesús was an avid baseball fan and extremely knowledgeable about anything pertaining to baseball. His favorite team was the New York Yankees.

Jesús was a Born Again Christian, being Re-Baptized on June 10, 2012. He was a member of The Freedom Center in Oak Ridge.

Survived by his wife Allyn Koeppel-Santiago. Step-Daughter Stephanie Koeppel-Santiago at home. Three sisters: Elba, Mariam and Rihda of Puerto Rico. Also survived by five nieces and four nephews as well as many friends.

Visitation will be held 1-5pm on Sunday, March 16 at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton. A visitation will also be held Monday 9-10am at the funeral home before the 12 Noon service at The Freedom Center (formerly Philadelphia Church) in Oak Ridge. Interment will be private.
