Joseph R. Resch, 82, of Washington Township, Morris County, NJ died Saturday, April 6, 2013 in Morristown Memorial Hospital. He was born in Tewksbury Township, NJ on May 22, 1930, the son of the late Joseph G. Resch and Agnes C. Riley. Joseph worked for the Morris County Road Department for 36 years retiring in 1992 and he served in the National Guard. His hobbies included cars, fishing, hunting, trapshooting, working outdoors and gardening and was a member of the NRA.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Jane (Christensen) Resch; four sons, Joseph (Chris) and his wife Karen of Bangor, PA, Glenn (Dink) and his wife Petrina of Hackettstown, NJ, Brian and his wife Diane of Belvedere, NJ, Tim of High Bridge, NJ; a daughter, Jenny Belenguer and her husband Ed of Long Valley, NJ; sixteen grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a sister, Vivian Taylor of Montoursville, PA. In addition to his parents, Joseph was predeceased by two sons, Kirk and Mark Resch; a daughter, Robin Resch; a grandson, Kirk Resch Jr. and a sister, Josephine Bowers.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 1:00PM in the Fairmount Cemetery, Tewksbury Township, NJ under the direction of the Coughlin Funeral Home, 15 Academy Street, Califon, NJ 07830.
