Marion Van Uitert, 89, of Morris Township, passed away at Morristown Medical Center on Sunday, July 13, 2014. Friends are invited to visit at Bradley-Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Rd., Whippany on Wednesday, July 16th from 5 to 7pm. Interment will be in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born in Worcester, MA, Marion was raised in Washington, DC, the daughter of Vern Clark Woolley and Emma Walker Woolley. She was the beloved wife of the late LeGrand G. Van Uitert who died in 1999. After her graduation from George Washington University where she received a full academic scholarship, Marion lived in State College, PA before moving to Morris Township in 1952. She was a homemaker but her love for children led her to substitute teaching for many years. Marion was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormon) in Morristown.

She is survived by her most precious children and their wonderful spouses; Dr. Robert and wife Barbara of Williamstown, MA, Dr. Bonnie Van Uitert and husband Dr. Mitchell Margolis of Wynnewood, PA and Dr. Craig and wife Deena of Skillman, NJ, 6 wonderful grandchildren; Robert, Maat, Alexis, Victoria, Alexandra and Julia, and 5 precious great grandchildren; Madison, William, Grant, Wyatt, and Tessa. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Marion's memory may be made to either The Parkinson's Disease Foundation or The Special Olympics.
