Zsigmond L. "Ziggy" Sagi died Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013 at St. Clare's Hospital/Denville. He was 83. Born in Budapest, Hungary he lived most of his life in Denville. Ziggy immigrated to the United States in 1956, after the Hungarian Revolution, where he became a successful businessman through his inventions, from the "Zig Zag" stitch for sewing machines, to the disposable thermometer, and concentrating much of his career developing a breast cancer
screening indicator. Ziggy had a passion for soccer and was founder of the Hub soccer program in Denville.
He is survived by two loving sons, Zsigmond G., his wife Marysue, and their children, Kellie and Cara all of Mt. Olive, and Zoltan, his wife June, and their children, Samantha, Sabrina and Skyler all of Byram.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, Sept. 13, 2013 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the Morgan Funeral Home, 31 Main St., Netcong, NJ (www.netcongfuneral.com
