Nicholas D. Andreucci

AGE: 85 • Parsippany

Nicholas D. Andreucci, Age 85, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013 at his home. He was born in New York, N.Y. and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y. He lived in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn before moving to Parsippany 60 years ago. Nicholas proudly served his country in the United States Army from 11/17/1950 until being honorably discharged on 9/30/1952. He worked as a Mechanic at Sandoz in East Hanover for 15 years before retiring in 1992. Nicholas was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 3680 in Parsippany. He loved to spend time with his family and he enjoyed fishing and camping.

He was predeceased by his son, Richard in 1999 and by his sister, Catherine Cavallo in 2007. Survivors include his beloved wife, Florence (nee-Bevacqua) with whom he celebrated his 60th wedding anniversary on 2/1/2013; his daughters, Linda Andreucci, Deborah Budney and her husband Robert, Donna Downey and her husband Michael, and Gail Byrne and her husband Thomas; his sister, Sara D'Angio; and by his 11 cherished grandchildren and 11 treasured great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2013 from the Par-Troy Funeral Home, 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany. (973) 887-3235 or visit www.partroyfuneralhome.com with the Liturgy of Christian Burial to be offered at 10:00 a.m. at St. Christopher R.C. Church, 1050 Littleton Rd., Parsippany. Interment: Somerset Hills Cemetery, Basking Ridge. Visiting hours are on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. ONLY. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in his memory to the American Cancer Society, 7 Ridgedale Ave. Suite 103, Cedar Knolls, N.J. 07927.
