Doris Hintz Obituary
AGE: 91 • Denville
Doris Ann Hintz (Spitzberger) passed away after a long illness at Care One in Jackson, NJ on January 19, 2012. She was 91 years old. Born in NY, NY she had lived in Parsippany before moving to Denville, NJ in1964. Doris worked as a Clerk in the art department at AT&T/Bell Labs in Whippany, NJ for over 31 years before retiring in 1983. She was a member of the Hildale Presbyterian Church in Cedar Knolls, NJ and the Pioneers of America.
She was predeceased by her husband Robert W. Hintz, as well as her sister Janet Goehring, and her grandson Robert E. Smith Jr. Doris is survived by her daughters Donnette E. Hubert of Manchester, NJ and Darene F. Haddon of Clinton Twp., NJ. She is also survived by her siblings Marian A. McCaffrey and August E. Spitzberger along with her grandchildren Marian D. Viola and Scott T. Smith and her 6 Great Grandchildren and many Nieces & Nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday January 23, 2012 at 11AM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-5PM. In lieu of flowers donations to: VITAS Hospice Foundation 1 Meridian Road Suite 5 Eatontown, NJ 07724. Please light a candle in her memory at: www.normandean.com.
