May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
I always called him Mr. Tracey because I had so much respect for him and the things he was involved in around town. He was my boss and he showed me kindness and faith from the first day he hired me at the Morristown Post Office in 1984 and many years after his retirement. He will be missed.

I will personally miss bob Tracy very much. He was a very good, funny, kind and caring person.
My fondest memory of him is when he brought Robert Kennedy to Morristown Nj during the 1960 presidential election.
He was a great speaker and shared his thoughts in a fair way.
He was always there for god, family, country, community and friends!
Morristown was blessed to have him.

So very sorry to read of Bobby's passing. He was truly one in a million. Getting old has it's good and bad sides. As a youngster, I remember Bobby in his Navy uniform. He and my Father(Big Dan Dacey) were good friends in the Post Office and Post 59 Legion. He had a great sense of humor and as Post Master, I sent him a piece I wrote which I read over the loudspeaker. He was a great doier, not a talker.I'm sure he and Big Dan will meet up soon.

Mary,
There are no words that you have not already heard or that have not been said about your wonderful husband. I do know that I am proud that Joey was on the EMT squad the night Bob was taken to the hospital. Joey came home that night and knowing how much Joey cared about Bob and you I know he was treated gently and lovingly. To say you both are great friends and neighbors would be an understatement.
Walking past without both you and Bob on the front porch will be a loss for all of us. Please reach out anytime for anything at all. Much love, Barbara, Juli & Joey Orfini

To Mary and Family
Bob was one of the greatest persons I ever had the pleasure to know,a great veteran who helped many vets like myself,a man who spoke from the heart and never needed any footnotes when he gave a speech. I will always remeber the Memorial Day and Veterans Days that we spent together going to all the momuments and cemetary's in the area to honor are fallen comrads. It is not going to be the same without you there. Rest in peace my friend. You did your duty on this Earth.

Bob was an untiring volunteer for the VA hospital in Lyons. I marveled at his enthusiasm and energy in bringing retired NFL players to the VA facility for a day of interaction and autographs with the patients residing there. It was always a pleasure appearing at the function with Bob. RIP old soldier. You will never be forgotten.
