From the time we met you long ago, you were one of those people we both loved to see...with your big, booming laugh and your witty way with words, you created so many good memories for us. I'll miss your big hugs and Joe will miss the trading of jokes you two shared. I think it's safe to say that most of us that had the honor of knowing you will carry your memory for as long as we have memory. Safe journey Joe May

Some Do. Some Don't. Joe May. Joe will be looking down at us smiling. A man who left everyone with a smile on their face and a good feeling....I recall the first day Joe walked into Rosie's, and served him his first beer and Lake Worth was never the same.....it got much better. In 25 years I never heard one bad comment about Joe, only positive.....they don't make them like you anymore. Joe loved his family and he loved his country and his passion for life was unparralled. My condolences to the May family. I only wish I could have said goodbye. I know Joe is in a better place and with his Father and Kenny, Fred, Charlie and Louie...Rest in Peace my brother.. Boom shaka lacka

As one of Joe's teachers in the early years at Randolph High School, I would like to convey my condolences to the family. I still have vivid memories of Joe, both in the classroom and on the athletic fields. He possessed a great sense of humor along with a disarming smile. I'm saddened by his passing.
