Michael L. Gordon, 70, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012 at the Morristown Memorial Hospital. He was born in New York City and had lived in East Orange and Parsippany before moving forty years ago to Randolph. Michael was a graduate of New York University with a Bachelor's Degree and attended New York University Law School. He was the owner of a Sports Collectible Business in Morris County, previously Michael worked for many years as a Municipal Bonds Specialist with Boland, Saffin, Gordon & Sautter in New York City. Michael was the Past President of the National Sports Collector Convention. When the Convention was held in 1984 in Parsippany, Michael was the President. He was involved in the Tuesday Night Sports Collectibles Show for over 25 years at the PAL of Parsippany. He was the founder of the Morristown Babe Ruth League and was a coach with the league for many years. Sports were Michael's Life.

Michael was predeceased by his parents, Louis and Ida (Gelchinsky) Gordon and is survived by his wife, Harriet (Kellman) Gordon; his son, Howard, of Randolph, NJ; his daughter, Karen Gordon Lieberman and her husband James, of Randolph, NJ; his two granddaughters, Madison and Arielle; his sisters, Joyce Striar, of New Rochelle, NY and Amy Gordon Fisher, of Chappaqua, NY.

Funeral Service will be held at Cedar Park Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, 735 Forest Avenue, Paramus, NJ at 10:30 am with burial immediately following today, (Wednesday). Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Michael to the American Heart Association. Arrangements are under the direction of the Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ.
