Raymond Hollis Tiger

AGE: 97 • Lake Hiawatha

Raymond Hollis Tiger, Age 97, passed away on Tuesday, October 29th 2013 at St. Clares Hospital in Denville. Hollis was born and raised in Morristown. He lived in Boonton before moving to Lake Hiawatha in 1945. He served in the United States Army during World War II from February 14th 1942 until being honorably discharged on October 22nd 1945.

Hollis was a Supervisor in the Auto Division for the Parsippany Police Department for 10 years before retiring in 1985. Prior to that, he owned and operated B&H Gulf in Lake Hiawatha. He was a member of the Lake Hiawatha Volunteer Fire Department District 4 and the Hill Top Sportsman Club, both in Parsippany as well as the Pistol & Rifle Club in Roxbury. Hollis also enjoyed hunting & horseback riding.

Hollis was pre-deceased by his beloved wife of 65 years, Emma Lou who passed away on January 18th 2007. He is survived by his loving son, Jonathan Hollis Tiger.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service at 8:30p.m. on Friday, November 1st 2013 at the Par-Troy Funeral Home. 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany.
