Robert "Scott" King, Jr.

AGE: 61 • Bangor, PA.

Robert "Scott" King, Jr., 61, of Bangor, PA, passed away Friday, December 7th, at Good Shepherd Specialty Hospital, Bethlehem, PA. Born May 25, 1951, in Dalry, Scotland a son of the late Elizabeth (Lawson) and Robert King. He and his wife, Betty Diane (Bockoven), celebrated their 4th wedding anniversary this past September. Scott was employed as a lineman for JCP&L, until retiring in 2009. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Living Water Church in Newton, NJ. Scott was also a member of the NRA.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two step sons Robert Couillard, of Chester, NJ and Paul Couillard and his wife Joanly, of Bangor, PA; two sisters, Dora Thorne, of FL and Euphemia Mulready, of CA, grandson Corban Couillard, Mother in Law Elsie Bockoven of Chester, NJ, Brother in Law and Sister in Law Peter and Barbara Thompson of Andover, NJ, niece and nephew Carie and Joshua Thompson, and niece Heather Thorne.

A celebration of life service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Living Water Church, 42 Yates Ave., Newton, NJ, 07860. Friends are invited to call Thursday 4 to 7 p.m. at Living Water Church. Burial will be private at convenience of the Family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., "Village of Johnsonville", Bangor, PA.
