Rocco L. Trifari, Age 74, passed away on Tuesday, October 29th 2013 at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown. Rocco was born in Eatontown and grew up in Paterson. He lived in Little Falls and Pine Brook before moving to Montville 11 years ago. He owned and operated Rocky's Hot Dog Wagon in Little Falls for many years. Rocco then went on to run the 5th Base concession stand for Montville Little League for about 7 years before retiring. Rocco was a member of Saint Pius X R.C. Church in Montville.
He was pre-deceased by his brothers and sister, Anthony of Arizona, Domenic of Montville, Tony, also of Montville and Mary Lou Hampton of New Mexico. Survivors include his wife, Lena (nee-Russomanno); his sons: Rocky J. and his wife, Lina of Parsippany, James R. of Towaco and Lee R. of Montville; his "#4 son", Steven Maye of Little Falls; his brothers: Frank and his wife, Patricia of Whiting Twp. and Joseph & his wife, Sandra of Towaco; his sisters, Rose Micozzi of Royal Palm Beach, Fla., Marie Padula and her husband, Michael of Wayne and Betty Scro of Port Saint Lucie, Fla.; his grandchildren: Jim Ryan, Brittany, Hillary, Lee Jr., Rocky Jr. and Tiffany; he is also survived by his dear aunts, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Liturgy of Christian Burial to be offered at 9:00a.m. on Saturday, November 2nd 2013 at Saint Pius X R.C. Church. 24 Changebridge Road, Montville.
