Valentino Condurso, of Madison, died on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at his home with his family by his side, he was 88 years old. Mr. Condurso was born in Madison and lived there all his life. Mr. Condurso worked for Allied Chemical in N.Y.C. for 17 years and then after they changed names to Honeywell he transferred to the Morris Township location for approximately another 30 years as a traffic manager. He retired in 1990.
He was a member of the North Stars Club and St.Vincent Martyr Church both in Madison. He was especially proud of his father Natale, who was a borough employee who helped form the Borough of Madison Parks Dept. as we know it today and for whom Condurso Way in Madison is named after to honor him. Valentino is pre-deceased by his wife Genevieve (nee Curcione) and is survived by his loving daughters, Margaret DeCaro, Phyllis Arci, his dear sister, Madeline Primavera, his devoted grandchildren, Lisa, Richie Valentino, Danielle and his two special companions, Roxy and Jake.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral Monday, October, 21, 9am from the Madison Memorial Home 159 Main St. Madison with a funeral mass at 10am at St. Vincent Martyr Church, Madison, Interment St. Vincents Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 2-5 pm. In lieu of flowers donations to the Homeside Hospice, 67 Walnut Avenue, Suite 205, Clark, N.J. 07066 in his memory would be appreciated.
