David Bagish, 81, of Morristown, NJ., passed away peacefully June 25, 2014 due to complication of Alzheimers in Ft. Myers, Florida with his devoted wife at his side. He was born in Newark, NJ., son of of Jacob and Myra Bagish. Graduated from Clifford Scott High School, East Orange, NJ.
He went on to graduate from Swarthmore College in Swarthmore, PA. He served in the U.S. Air Force before joining his father's paper business. David received many awards in his 55 years in the refined paper business as well as Rotary International. David served as the president of the Morristown Rotary Club and chaired many other projects in the local, district and international Rotary Club. One project he was especially proud of was starting the "A taste of Morristown".
David especially loved snow skiing and ran many ski adventures to Europe. He loved to travel and enjoy fine foods and wine.
David is survived by his wife of 30 years Dolores, three sons, Scott (Elizabeth) Bagish, Carl (Wendy) Bagish, Dr. Scott (Teresa) Douglas. Also survived by five grandchildren, Connor Douglas, Maya Bagish, Sierra Bagish, Claire Bagish and Corrine Bagish. David was predeceased by his parents and his son Mark Bagish.
