EDWARD WISNIEWSKI AGE: 92 MINE HILL Edward Wisniewski, 92, passed away on Friday, January 15th at St. Clare's Hospital, Dover. Born in New York City, he was a lifelong resident of Mine Hill. Mr. Wisniewski was a civil engineer at Picatinny Arsenal for 35 years, retiring in 1982. Ed is an Exempt Member and served as Chief of the Mine Hill Fire Department in 1952. He was also a member of the NJ State Firemen's Exempt Association. He was a parishioner of St. Mary's Church, Wharton and enjoyed wood crafting. Predeceased by his six siblings: Helen Krueger, Sophie Wisniewski, Benny Wisniewski, John Wisniewski, Emily VanRy, & Eugenia VanNorman. Survived by his special care giving niece and great niece: Kathy Haberstroh of Mine Hill and Eugenia Phelan of Wharton. He leaves many nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews and great great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 18th 3-5 & 7-9 PM at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St. Wharton. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday 9:30 AM from the funeral home to a 10 AM Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, Wharton. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Dover. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory to the Mine Hill Fire Department, 10 Baker St., Mine Hill, NJ 07803 will be appreciated. Offer condolences at www.BerminghamFH.com
