Douglas Best, 81, died on Sept., 30, 2014 at home. He was born in Morristown and was a resident of Victory Gardens, NJ. Douglas was employed by Howmet Corp., Rockaway Twp. for 25 years working in the Molding Dept.
He was predeceased by his mother and father Pauline & Sylvester Best. Survived by 3 daughters Claudia Reid, Dorothy Best and Dawn Evans; 6 sons Douglas Best, Richard Best, David Holeman, Jr., Michael Evans, Herb Evans, Jr. and Matthew Evans; 5 sisters; and 6 brothers. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services are private. Arrangements by Quigley Funeral Home, 68 N. Bergen St., Dover, NJ 07801.
