I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Rubenstein as a sonographer at Morristown Memorial Hospital from the time he arrived until 1987. Along with the others in the department - Gerry, Lori, Dona, Kathy - we were a good team and made a difference in the lives of our patients. Years later, I was honored when he attended my wedding. I have uploaded a picture of him celebrating my happy day! That is how I will remember him...

I sat on the Berit Mila Board with Jim for many years. He was totally devoted to the organization and to the fulfillment of the mitzvah of berit mila. Although he and I often disagreed on a variety of issues, there was a level of mutual respect which made the conversations both enjoyable and educational; he always taught me something. Jim was a wonderful colleague and we will all miss him very much. On behalf of the Berit Mila Program I want to extend our most sincere condolences to Jim's family. We lost him way too early.
