Graveside service for Dennis Fleming, 58, of Nacogdoches will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 6, 2014, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, with Pastor Mike Williams of New Faith Church, Sacul, officiating. Dennis was born on Sept. 6, 1955, in San Marcos to George Fleming and the late Jinnie Fleming. Dennis was employed by Stephen F. Austin State University for 27 years, as an electronics technician. He enjoyed RVing and fishing. He was passionate about motorcycles, the NRA, Jesus and most of all his family. He was a Christian, and in his own words he said at his death "my race will have been run, my eternal fate set. Although I am a sinner and deserve to rot in hell, I shall spend eternity with my savior Jesus Christ because of his saving, forgiving grace." Dennis is survived by his wife, Deborah Fleming of Nacogdoches; father, George Fleming and wife, Joyce, of Rockport; children, Derek Fleming and wife, Antonia, of Hudson, Joshua Fleming and wife, Katie, of Houston, Amy King and husband, Steven, of Huntington, Bradley Young and wife, Amanda, of Mesquite, and Jamie Sammons and husband, Jeffrey, of Nacogdoches; sister, Ann Emanis of Cushing; and seven grandchildren.
