Billy Ruth Davis LeBouf of Sugar Land completed her life on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at the age of 93. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2014, at Cason Monk-Metcalf in Nacogdoches, followed by graveside services at 2:30 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park with the Rev. John McGuire officiating. A memorial service will be held for Mrs. LeBouf at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 19, 2014, at Southminster Presbyterian Church in Missouri City, Texas. Services will be officiated by the Rev. David Northcutt and the Rev. Andrew Keyes. Billy was born in Fort Worth on June 6, 1921, and died at Barton House in Sugar Land. Married in Denton, on March 8, 1947, she was the wife of J. Ray LeBouf. She was a graduate of North Texas State University with a master's degree in mathematics. Mrs. LeBouf taught math for most of her life and enjoyed teaching all ages, from kindergarten through college. She retired from SFASU mathematics department in 1976. Mrs. LeBouf moved to Houston in 1996 to be near family. She was an active member at Clarewood House volunteering in many service activities, played with the handbell choir "The Clarewood Belles," traveled whenever possible, and competed in arts and crafts events, frequently winning at the state level. She leaves behind a legacy of paintings, writings, bride dolls, and hand work of all types. Mrs. LeBouf was mother to Linda Rae Kaiser of Utopia, Texas, and Ruth Ann Pierpont of Richmond. She was the doting "Grandy" to grandchildren, Kristin Wind of Port Neches, John Pierpont of San Marcos, Erin Kaiser Foster of Philadelphia, Pa.; and great-grandson, Wyatt Foster of Philadelphia, Pa. She had a special and loving relationship with son-in-law, Don Kaiser of Utopia. Other surviving family members include sister-in-law, Lorrette Davis of Ector; brother-in-law, Clarence LeBouf of Utopia; grandson-in-law, Tyler Wind of Port Neches; niece, JoSue LeBouf of Victoria; and nephew, John LeBouf of East Barnard. She was predeceased by her husband, Ray; parents, John and Perle (McFarland) Davis; brother, JLee Davis; and sister-in-law, Tommie LeBouf. The family wishes to give heart-felt thanks to the staff of Barton House and New Century Hospice for outstanding care and concern for Billy. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the , Barton House, , or the . Memories and condolences may be offered at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors.
