Funeral services for Justin Lee Walker, age 23, of Nacogdoches are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, February 6, 2009, in Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home Chapel, Rusk, with the Rev. Don Copeland and the Rev. Robin Parsons officiating. Interment will be in Jarratt Cemetery under the direction of Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Rusk. Mr. Walker died February 1, 2009, from injuries received in an automobile accident. He was born June 2, 1985, in Rusk. He was a resident of Nacogdoches three-and-half years, formerly of Rusk. Mr. Walker was a member of First Baptist Church in Alto and attended Angelina College. He was a welder, loved to hunt and fish and loved nature. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Sammy Chandler; and two uncles, Doyle Pearson and Earnest Pearson. He is survived by his father, Dwayne Walker of Rusk; mother, Kathy Chandler of Nacogdoches; daughter, Madison Marie Walker of Nacogdoches; sister and brother-in-law, Jessica and Cliff Redden of Rusk; grandparents, Earlene Chandler of Rusk and Howard and Carol Walker of Rusk; two nieces, Emily Redden of Rusk and Alaina Redden of Rusk; nephew, Colton Redden of Rusk; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; fiancŽe, Samantha Hall of Nacogdoches; and a very special person, Tassa Pitts of Nacogdoches. Pallbearers will include Josh Hedricks, John Looney, Robert Castilaw, Scott Bass, Zach Hodgkins and Kevin Loden. Honorary pallbearers will be Edward Jones, Koren Lee and Brandon Linderman. Family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Thursday, February 5, 2009, at the funeral home. Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Rusk.
