What a tremendous loss the family and friends of Alex have suffered. His ever-present smile was like a ray of sunshine in all of our lives. I had the opportunity to work with Alex at Poncho & Cisco's. He was always kind and considerate, very upbeat and entertaining. Words fail me to express what I want to say to you, his family. All of us who worked with him at Ponchos & Cisco's feel a dreadful loss and will always remember his endearing personality and smiling face.

My heart is heavy filled with sadness and pain about this. But I know where he is now is somewhere so very special and sweet. Alex worked with my boyfriend and uncles for a few years at Jimmy Dees. Never met anyone as friendly and kind like him, he always had a smile on his face. I am so thankful to have met him, my deepest condolences to all of his family. I will pray for your strength and healing everyday. Alex will never be forgotten.

I met Alex last week while waiting for my order. He was extremely polite and ensured my order was correct. I could tell he enjoyed his job and his willingness to go above and beyond. I've been deeply saddened to hear what happened. My deepest sympathy and condolences to his family and friends.

I regret never keeping in touch with him. May Alex watch over from heaven and know that he is a safer place, he is in God's paradise watching over his family. I had the privilege of working with Alex ("Potter" as we called him) for 6 years at Poncho and Ciscos restaurant. When Potter started working there he was 15 years old and so darn sweet to everybody who worked with him. Until he left Poncho and Ciscos he was funny, helpful, kind, goofy, hardworking, a friend to all the employees and could charm the skin off a snake! Potter's personality was already missed when he left Ponchos and Ciscos for greener pastures and his being will be sorely missed, as we will never be able to laugh at his jokes, see his smiling face, sample his delicious creations and enjoy his friendship again. We will be reminded that we are better people for having known and worked with Potter for as long as we did. People like Alex only come along once in a lifetime and I am grateful for having known him.
