Charles Bowser Obituary

Charles William Bowser, Jr, of Bonita Springs, Fla., formerly of Troy, Mich., passed away peacefully on May 6, 2013. Charlie was born in Johnston, Pa. on August 24, 1932. He graduated from Mercersburg Academy and Allegheny College. Charlie was an avid athlete and golfer, he was a life member of Red Run Golf Club in Royal Oak, Mich. and more recently Hunter's Ridge Golf Club in Bonita Springs. Charlie was retired from Braeburn Steel. He moved to the Detroit area in 1957 where he met the love of his life, Joanne McCaul Bowser. Charlie will be missed by his wife as well as his children, Katherine Neff, Bill (Janice) Bowser, David (Sarai) Bowser; his six grandchildren, Tyler, Alexanne, Jessica, Jacob, Charles and Christian; extended family and dear friends. Services will be private. The family will be accepting visitors in their Bonita Springs home on Thursday, May 9, 2013 from 2-5 p.m. A memorial in Michigan will be planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial gift to Avow Hospice, 1095 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples, FL 34105 or at www.avowcares.org.
