Eugene Duguay, age 80, of Leesburg Florida, formerly of Madison Heights, went to be with the Lord on September 29, 2012. Mr. Duguay was born October 5, 1931. Eugene served in the Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Stroh's Brewery in Detroit, Mich. While in Michigan he was very active with the warming Center at St. Dennis Catholic Church. He coached little league baseball and was active with the Madison High Booster Club. He was also very involved in his community in Leesburg, managing the monthly breakfast, collecting cans for Habitat for Humanity, playing softball, umpiring and taking score for his team. He is survived by his wife, Loraine (nee Green); daughters, Michele (James) Piscopink, Gina (Randy) Smith, Beth (Todd) Kelly and Loren (David) Foster; 14 grandchildren and one great grandson, Shea Eugene. He was preceded in death by his son, Curtis; parents, Bella and Frank Duguay; brother, Leonard and sister, Loretta. Burial service will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery on November 23, 2012 at 12 noon. A celebration of life Luncheon will be held at 2 p.m. at VFW hall 360 E. 11 Mile Road, Madison Heights MI, 48071. He was a wonderful husband, father and friend. He will be very missed.
