Murdock Williams Obituary

Williams, MurDock; age 68; passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2015; born in Mississippi, residing in Mt. Clemens and Pontiac. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Rosemary Osley-Williams; son, Robert Bey; step-daughters, Staci Osley and Chrystal Osley; five grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, February 1, 2015 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Pontiac Chapel-Sparks Griffin Funeral Home, 46 Williams St., Pontiac, MI 48341. Funeral Service Monday, February 2, 2015 at 12 Noon with Pastor Douglas P. Jones, officiating at Welcome Missionary Baptist Church, 143 Oneida, Pontiac, MI 48341. Family Hour 11:30 a.m. until Service. Mr. Williams will be buried at Great Lakes National Cemetery in honor of his dedication and services provided to the United States Army. www.sparksgriffinfuneralhome.com

Sad to hear of my classmates passing. My high school memories were of his amazing skills at basketball a game I loved but could not, as a girl, participate. He was a joy to watch and thinking of him brings fond memories of those days when we were young. May Murdock RIP and I send my condolences to the family.
