Mr. Vince Edward Greeson D.D.S. Obituary
Vince Edward Greeson, D.D.S., age 92, died April 12, 2012 in West Stockbridge, Massachusetts. He and his wife, Mary Louise (Campbell) Greeson were in West Stockbridge visiting their daughter, Robin. Also surviving is his daughter Brooke Greeson; grandchildren Rachel and Max Dworkin, Flora and Perry Greeson; and his sister Edna (Greeson) Scott. He was loved by all of us and by so many others. We mourn his loss but cherish the memories of the many happy years we had with him. Born on January 27, 1920 in Alabama, he grew up in Hazel Park, Michigan and lived in Bloomfield Hills for 60 years. After high school, Vince became a tool and die maker. In 1942 he enlisted in the U.S.Air Force. He was discharged as a Sergeant in 1946 and, using the G.I. Bill, attended the University of Detroit, followed by Dental School at the University of Michigan, Class of 1953. He practiced dentistry, first in Royal Oak, then in Birmingham, retiring in 1987. He cherished his long time friends, classmates and patients who became "like family". He was a sports enthusiast and U. of M. supporter. Vince was devoted to his wife, daughters and grandchildren as well as his dear cat, Sunny. Arrangements were handled by the Birches-Roy Funeral home, 33 South Street, Great Barrington, MA 01230. At his request there will be no services. Condolences may be sent to the Greeson family at P. O. Box 313, West Stockbridge, MA 01266
