WILLIAMS, FLOYD W.; “Curly”; of Waterford; passed peacefully on March 8, 2014; age 88. Loving husband and best friend of Beverly Ann for 37 years; extremely loving and proud father of Diane (Bill) Sadler, Debbie (Dewey) Reese, Daniel (Pam) Williams, Donna (Tim) Knoppe, Doug Williams and Kelly (William) Kobe; dear brother of Mona Hicks; and preceded in death by 4 brothers; and 1 sister; also loved by 15 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; as well as many nieces; nephews; and friends; dearly missed by his canine companions, Minky and Emma Lou. Mr. Williams was retired from General Motors Truck and Coach, was a proud WWII Veteran of the United States Navy and was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the RIVERSIDE CHAPEL, Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home, 5630 Pontiac Lake Road, Waterford. Officiating Pastor Gary Drinkard. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday 3 to 8 p.m. Interment Great Lakes National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
