Billy Arnaud

Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 12, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in First Baptist Church of Port Barre for Billy Joe Arnaud, age 45, who passed away Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 8:50 p.m. at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette.
Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Pastor Benjie Richard of First Baptist Church of Port Barre, will officiate at the services.
Mr. Arnaud was a native and lifelong resident of Port Barre. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Port Barre.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Susan Arnaud of Port Barre; his parents, Phelton J. "Myo" Arnaud, Sr. and the former Lorena Leger of Port Barre; three daughters, Monique Matt and her husband, David, of Prairie Rhonde, Ashley Guidry and her husband, Brock, of Leonville, and Lindzey Guidry and her husband, Brent, of Arnaudville; five brothers, Ricky Arnaud of Port Barre, Daniel Arnaud of Port Barre, Marvin Arnaud of Church Point, Phelton Arnaud, Jr. and his wife, Angie, of Sunset, and Shane Arnaud of Port Barre; four sisters, Peggy Sylvester and her husband, Bennie, of Grand Prairie, Cheryl Kassing and her husband, Ed, of The Woodlands, TX, Vanessa Domingue and her husband, Neil, of Lafayette, and Trudie Fontenot and her husband, Tony, of Grand Prairie; four grandchildren, Taylor Johnson, Adam Lane Guidry, Brent Michael Guidry, and Adrianna Guidry; twenty-seven nieces and nephews; and five godchildren.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 11:00 a.m. Saturday and will continue all night until service time on Sunday.
Pallbearers will be Phelton "Coyote" Arnaud, Jr., Ricky Arnaud, Daniel Arnaud, Marvin "Noonie" Arnaud, Jr., Shane Arnaud, David Matt, Brock Guidry, and Brent James Guidry.
