Elmer "Roy" Boudreaux

OPELOUSAS - Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 23, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in First Pentecostal Church in Melville for Elmer "Roy" Boudreaux, age 58, who passed away Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Ochsner Medical Center in Baton Rouge.

Interment will be in First Pentecostal Cemetery in Melville. The Rev. Samuel Ham, pastor of First Pentecostal Church, will officiate at the services.

Mr. Boudreaux was a native of Melville and a resident of Denham Springs. He was a God loving family man who held his wife, children and grandchildren first. He was a real fan of the New Orleans Saints and never missed a game. He enjoyed being outdoors whether in his yard or hunting and fishing and was the biggest Hank Williams, Jr. fan.

Survivors include his wife of forty two years, Virgie Martin Boudreaux; three sons, Kirk Cashio and his wife, Melinda, of Melville, Troy Boudreaux and his wife, April, of Livingston; and Brock Boudreaux of Sunset; two daughters, Thrisa Payne and her husband, Kenny, of Port Vincent and Paula Polozola and her husband, Stephen, of Sunset; three sisters, Glenda Moore and her husband, Mitchell, of Erwinville; Lottie Neeley and her husband, Ron, of St. Louis, MO and Tammy Patton and her husband, Daniel of Texarkana, TX; eleven grandchildren, Tessie Lasyone and her husband, Brandon, Crey Warren, Chance Warren, Justin Cashio, Tyler Cashio, Bryce Cashio, Trent Boudreaux, Cory Boudreaux, Kristi Polozola, Ashley Polozola and Katie Boudreaux; five great grandchildren; a cousin that was like a brother to him, Michael Badeaux; and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Simon Boudreaux and Vera Lee Jackson Boudreaux.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the church hall from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Saturday and will continue from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Sunday at the church hall.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons
