OPELOUSAS - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Opelousas for Mr. Russell Lee Guillory, 67, who passed away on Monday, April 21, 2014 at his residence in Opelousas. Interment will be in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas.
Rev. Kyle Sylvester, pastor of St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church of Port Barre, will be officiating the funeral services.
Mr. Guillory was a member of St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church of Port Barre. He was a member of the Union Pacific Brotherhood.
Mr. Guillory is survived by: his wife, Ella Moody Guillory of Opelousas; his mother, Savannah B. Guillory of Opelousas; two sons, Ronald Johnson of Fort Worth, TX and Rusty Guillory (Monica) of Lake Charles; two daughters, Angelee Moody Rhyne (George) and Christy Guillory-Boxie (Eric), both of Houston, TX; five brothers, Jimmy Johnson of New Orleans, Antoine (Tony) Guillory of Opelousas, Adam Guillory of Lafayette, Micheal Guillory of Dallas, TX and Terry Guillory of Chicago, IL; six sisters, Eloise G. Narcisse of Port Barre, Shirley Busby of Mallet, Carrie Williams of Opelousas, Anna B. Comeaux of Baton Rouge, Savannah Collins of Arnaudville and Dolores Guillory of Washington; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Guillory, Sr. and five brothers, Joseph Guillory, Nolan Guillory, Alcide Guillory, Arthur Guillory, Jr. and August Joe Guillory.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday, April 26, 2014 from 7:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
