Kenneth Olivier Obituary
PORT BARRE - A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, Jun 1, 2012, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Port Barre, for Kenneth Olivier, age 49 Rite of Committal and interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Father Daniel Picard will celebrate the Mass.
Kenneth passed away on Tuesday at Opelousas General Health System. Kenneth worked 31 years for Marine Construction as a Leverman Operator. He loved hunting and fishing with his family and friends. He enjoyed making a garden of fruits and vegetables. He loved his little Tiyo. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Ardoin Olivier of Port Barre, his parents, Rogers and Georgia Soileau Olivier of Port Barre, his children, Hollie Oliver of Port Barre, and Krystal Olivier of Citronelle Ala., step children, Shannon Ortego of Port Barre, and Michael Hovan of Ala., brother, Herman Olivier of Port Barre, sister, Romayne Trahan of Denham Springs, one granddaughter, and three step grand children.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2012, from 10 am to 10 pm in the Sibille Funeral Home of Port Barre. On Friday, visitation will continue from 8 am until 10:30 am in the funeral home.
A Rosary service will be held at 7 pm on Thursday evening in the funeral home.
Words of comfort to the family may be expressed at www.sibillefuneralhomes.com.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sibille Funeral Home of Port Barre.
