Kim - It is a year later. I can not imagine your pain. I think of Joe often. When I automatically laugh at myself and say, "Silly me", or flash the hang loose sign to congratulate someone, I smile and think of Joe. Someone said it best in this book. Joe made a "life imprint" on me. His presence with me will continue to make me smile, inspire me to be a servant to others, and love every moment of my life. If I may ever help you or your children in any way, please do not hesitate to call me. Dan Perkins

Joey was a loyal friend, kind, smart, hard-working and the list can go on & on. I was truly blessed to spend 4 years of college with him. He was a special man with great character & made such an impact through the quiet way he loved & served others...never desiring to draw attention to himself. I am grateful for his life. He will be missed but never forgotten. He made a "life print" in so many people's hearts, including mine. He loved you and your precious children very much & his legacy will continue on through your family. I pray our Lord will comfort all of you today & for the rest of your lives. Love, Laura Brusenhan Smith
