David King Obituary

KING, David Richard David Richard King, 57, of University Park, passed away on June 14 after a courageous seven month battle with leukemia. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer, daughter Annie, and son, James. Born Nov. 27, 1959, David grew up in Shreveport, La.; graduating from LSU. David was Chief Accountant and Fraud Examiner for the Ft. Worth Regional Office of the US Securities and Exchange Commission for the past 14 years. Over this time, David received several prestigious national awards that recognized his exemplary work ethic and brilliant intellect. David's early career years were at Ernst & Young; He was a past President of the Dallas Heart Ball and supported numerous organizations. So many loving family and friends will greatly miss David's unconditional devotion and quiet strength including his brother, Jim; mother-in-law Joanne Loeb of Shreveport, La.; Aunts Beth and Karen. Special gratitude to David's SEC family. Services on Fri., June 23 at 2:00 pm at Highland Park Presbyterian Church. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
