Dear, Dear Jeanenne,
My heart goes out to you this day as I have just read the news of Mike's death. I wish I could have met him in person, as I can see by the obituary and comments here that he was a wonderful person....he was definitely smart, because he picked you as his wife! It is so precious to me to read of couples who have spent 50 years together. What a testimony in this day and age. I pray that our precious Savior will give you the grace to cope with this new loss. I was not aware that you had lost a son either. I pray that the Prince of Peace with fill you with comfort and strength.

Mike and I were Lake Highlands Exchange Club members for about 17 years. We never had a more loyal and effective member. His leadership produced many lasting results. I will always remember his great smile, and his very positive attitude. Mike will be missed by many but he also leaves a legacy that will be remembered by many

I feel bad that I only knew Mike for a few years; he was a tremendous worker, leader, and I'm sure a great father to his children and family. His leadership has always been greatly appreciated by all; and especially me. After the passing of my wife in 1995, Mike said during a conversation: "why don't you establish a scholarship fund with the Exchange Club in her name?" I did and almost 100 seniors of Lake Highlands High school have received a scholarship in her name. Thanks Mike for starting something wonderful.
