Sewell, Minister Rodney Kirk 55, traded his old earthly house for a new home in glory, Tuesday, May 14, 2013. Family and friends will gather Friday, May 17, from 7-10 p.m. at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 100 N. Goode Rd., Wilmer, Texas for a musical celebration. Minister Sewell's life will be celebrated with a Homegoing Service at 12 noon on Saturday, May 18, at Vision Regeneration Inc., 1900 S. Ewing Ave., Dallas, Texas. Survivors: Left in the caring hands of the Almighty Father, his loving and devoted wife, Marilyn Sewell; sons, Roderick, Rodney and Rodtay; daughter, Lameisha; five grandchildren, Martica, Makayla, Makiyra, Rhylian and Rhyan; two adopted children, Dominque and Delvin; four brothers; three sisters; father, Herman Waston and a host of relatives and friends.
