Hypes, William Loomis William "Billy" Loomis Hypes passed away peacefully on August 15 in Dallas, Texas with his family by his side. He was born July 26, 1954 in LaGrange, Illinois. Billy will be lovingly remembered for his ever-present humility, selflessness, generosity of spirit and sensitivity to all who crossed his path. He was an avid sports enthusiast, lover of the outdoors and skilled equestrian. A graduate of Guilford College in Greensboro, N.C., Billy spent much of his youth and early adulthood in New Canaan, Ct. His passion for landscape design turned into a 25-year career in the lawn and garden industry, first in Connecticut and Klater in Vero Beach, Florida. He became a highly respected resource in the field - amongst co-workers and clients alike. He moved to Dallas in 2009 to be closer to his sister and extended family. He is survived by his father, William Parmelee Hypes; his sister, Loyd Hypes Zisk and her husband Jeffrey, and nieces Jennifer Zisk Barron and Kathryn Loyd Zisk. A private service will be held in Vero Beach, Florida.
