Hinkley, Robert D. "Bob" Born March 4, 1931 and passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Veteran's Day, November 11, 2012. Bob proudly served aboard the aircraft carrier USS Bon Homme Richard (CV-31) during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel, whom he lovingly and faithfully cared for throughout her prolonged battle with Alzheimer's disease. He is survived by his brothers, James and Richard Hinkley; his godson, Paul D'Angelo and his nieces and nephews, David, Dena, Mike, Robin and Steven. A memorial service honoring Bob will be held Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Sparkman/Crane Funeral Home. Please visit www.sparkman-crane.com for additional information.
