GROFF, CHARLOTTE VIRGINIA WILTSE GROFF, 80, of Point, passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2004 at Greenville Presbyterian Hospital. She was born on October 2, 1923 in Hannibal, NY to Marian and George Wiltse. Mrs. Graft was a Proof Reader for Taylor Publishing Company. She was a member of the New Haven United Methodist Church in New Haven, NY. Mrs. Groff is survived by two sons, Etwood "Chip" and wife Donna Groff of Farmers Branch, Martin and wife Brenda Groff of Grand Prairie; one daughter, Georgia "Gigi" and husband Covey Ben Griffin of Point; family member Maria Groff; one brother Harold Wiltse of New Haven, NY; one sister, Bernice and husband Ed Douglas of Portland, Maine; 11 grand and step grandchildren, 6 great grand and step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Curtis Tyler Groff and her parents. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 14, 2004 at the Covenant Chapel in the American Heritage Academy Building located 2644 East Trinity Mills Road in Carrollton.
