Craig William League Sr.

League, Sr., Craig William Craig William League, Sr., 50, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2012. He was born September 19, 1962 in Irving, Texas. As a young adult, Craig was proud to serve as a firefighter with the Goodwill Hook and Ladder Company #1 in Warwick, New York. Upon return to Texas in the early 90's, Craig worked as a professional stuntman and was a member of the United Stuntmen's Association. After a lengthy tenure at Jerrell Industries, Craig accepted a management position with Just Brakes, where he was a well-respected leader in his field, which included training and coaching others to excel. Craig leaves behind his wife and partner of over 20 years, Dora Krebs League. He is also survived by his sons Craig William, Jr. and Curtis Alan; two step-daughters, Jessica Hill and Rachael Henager; and four grandchildren with one more on the way. He is also survived by his brothers Gene and wife Susan of Arlington, Texas, Clifford and wife Lavetta of Sherman, Texas, and Carl, III and wife Stacy of Austin, Texas; one sister Alanna Marie of Euless, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Mildred Copeland League and father Carl League, Sr. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM Sunday, December 2, 2012 at Brown's Memorial Chapel in Irving, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a memorial be made in Craig's name to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. www.pancan.org
