Everett Gantz Jr.

Gantz Jr., Everett E. Everett E. Gantz Jr. passed away peacefully on May 1, 2014. Born May 22, 1925 in Omaha, Nebraska, Everett attended Central High School. He received a B.S. from the University of Colorado and served in the United States Navy. After moving to Dallas in 1949, he was a silent partner in the Black Tulip Gallery, where he met Ann Cushing, his beloved wife of 54 years. Everett worked as an aerospace engineer at Vought Corporation for more than 40 years and avidly pursued woodworking, photography, and model airplane construction as hobbies. He was also a classical music and opera enthusiast. Everett was predeceased by his wife Ann. He is survived by his daughters Elaine Gantz Wright, Melissa Gantz Bowden and her husband Chris Bowden, his grandsons Elliot Wright and Ian Wright, and his sister Virginia Thompson. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 10, in the chapel at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, 8011 Douglas Ave., 75225, in Dallas.
