Leroy William Anspaugh

Anspaugh, LEROY WILLIAM, 90, a retired Carpenter, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2004 in Plano, Texas. Funeral Mass: will be celebrated 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 6, 2004 at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 14032 Dennis Lane, Farmers Branch. Burial: Holy Cross Cemetery, Akron Ohio. Visitation: Rosary 7 p.m. Friday night at Rhoton Funeral Home. Memorials: in Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Mary Immuaculate Catholic Church. Leroy was born in Ohio in 1913 and served in the army during WWII in Europe. He was a carpenter by trade and came to Texas in 1954. He volunteered at and won an achievement award from the Carrollton Senior Adult Services and also helped with City Hall Meals on Wheels. Leroy was active at Mary Immaculate as an usher and a member of Keenagers Senior Group. He was a member of Local 429 and served as President of the Retired Carpenters Association. Leroy was a avid golfer and was a member of the Houston Club. Survivors: Leroy leaves behind his beloved wife Rita Anspaugh to whom he was married for 62 years and his sister Doris Mauck of Kent Ohio. Dignity Memorial Rhoton Funeral Home I35 at Crosby Rd.
