Rodney Wayne Underhill

Underhill, Rodney Wayne The son of Col. Lawrence and Helen Underhill was born in Lawton, OK on April 6, 1949 and died peacefully on October 19, 2012. His son Brett and wife Erin and two grandsons of Studio City, CA. and his daughter Kelley Underhill Massoud, her husband Chuck and two grandsons of Dallas survive Rod. His nephew, Matt Underhill and two nieces, Stephanie and Diane, also survive him. For 19 years, he was a Principal of The Richards Group. Before that he was a leader at two other international advertising agencies: BBD&O and Ogilvy. Rod believed in giving back to his community and was a member of the founding Board of Directors for Bryan's House, a member of the Dallas Board of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, a member of the Advisory Board, Center for Retailing Studies, Texas A&M University, and President of the Dallas Advertising League. Mr. Underhill graduated the University of Oklahoma in 1971 where he was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. In 1986 he graduated the Harvard Graduate School of Business, Executive Program in Strategic Marketing. It is requested that any donations be made to JDRF in his name.
