Rosalie Sarah (rachel) Schiff(1922 - 2014)

Schiff, Rosalie (Rachel) Sarah Rosalie (Rachel) Sarah Schiff was born in Krakow, Poland on December 21, 1922. She and her husband William survived the Holocaust and as refugees came to Dallas with their young son in 1949 where they made their home for 65 years. In her later years Rosalie Schiff and her husband William spent their time lecturing to many thousands of area young people about the dangers of prejudice, hate and persecution. She taught them the importance of respecting everyone regardless of their race, or religion. Her favorite saying was "We are all part of the same race, the Human Race". She is survived by her children Michael Schiff and his wife Debbie, Rachel Schiff, Bob Schiff and his wife Julie. Her grandchildren Michael Schiff Jr., Rebecca Schiff Doumani and her husband David, Jennifer Schiff Mayes and her husband Jason, and Nicole Schiff. Her great grandchildren Ava and Asher Mayes and Holden Doumani. All which she loved very much. Services will be held Tuesday, August 5th at 10:00 a.m at Sparkman Hillcrest. Shiva will continue immediately following funeral service at the home of Michael and Debbie Schiff.
