Raybon, Susan Deanna Kordner Passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 8th. She was surrounded by her two sons Sean and Kyle as well as an abundance of love from her lifelong girlfriends who were by her side. Sue was born in Detroit, Michigan and died in her home in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She graduated from Hillcrest High School, attended The University of Miami before beginning her career in broadcasting television sales in Dallas and Albuquerque. She was loved for her sense of humor, her honesty and inner strength. As a single mother, Sue raised her sons with love and toughness. It's hard to imagine a world now without her. In her retirement, Sue was able to spend her time doing what she loved best-- working on her crafts including making jewelry and creating a variety of pet collars; and selling both successfully in Albuquerque. Two years ago, Sue faced her diagnosis of lung cancer head-on and "fought the good fight". Her courage was an inspiration to us all. On Sunday, July 14 at 10am we will celebrate Sue Raybon's life at The Hilton Crowne Plaza at 1901 University Blvd, then proceed to the Sunset Memorial in Albuquerque. "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal". Our memories will keep you in our hearts, dear mother and friend.
