Bishop Haynes...Still hard to believe you're not here. You were my only pastor, my whole life. Thank you for allowing this young man to be your personal adjutant. You will never know just how proud I was, to be able to sit in the presence of your great ministry, and help you with your robes and bring your water and other beverages to you. To be able to travel with you and the other ministers, and just learn how to be a good man, is still the highlight of my life. I love you still. RIP Bishop Haynes. Bishop Haynes...your love and mentorship has meant the world to me. I just found out yesterday about your passing. I guess you must have been telling me from heaven, because for no apparent reason ...you were on my mind and then I looked you up on the internet, only to find that you had passed away. I have known you since I was 14 years old, and you have been my only father. I want to thank you for all that you have done for me in helping me to become the man that I am today. You took me under your wing and made me your personal adjutant, which was a big time responsibility for a little kid but you had faith in me, and never once abused our relationship in any way, shape or form. You taught me how to be responsible , and you taught me how to be in the company of great men like yourself. I find myself crying as I think about all the great times and laughter that we shared over the years . There is no one better in my book. I will see you on the other side. I love you always and forever Bishop... you will never be forgotten. Every time that anyone says to me, "Larry you are a good man".... they are complimenting you for all that you taught me. All my love...REST IN PEACE.

I became a member of Saintsville Church Of God In Christ in March of 2010. After relocating to Dallas for my job. Bishop and Mother Haynes and Bishop Haynes sister, Missy' Kyles welcome me with open arms. Even though Bishop Haynes was my pastor for only 5 years, I was taught many life lessons base on Biblical principles that I will never forget.
Bishop was good at rightly dividing the word in a very clear form. Although he was well educated, he was wise enough to always know his audience, and how to speak directly to them.
Thank you Bishop for being the Preacher/Teacher that other could only hope to be.
