Jolene and I were friends during our elementary years at Bluebonnet School in Fort Worth, and we had many happy times visiting each other and doing things together around town. I recall her family, especially her mother, "Eena," who was always sweet to us. We also had a great time at her aunt's hotel. All of us who knew Jolene then will recall that she was a beautiful, intelligent, child who was always looking for a new adventure. Rest in peace, my childhood friend.

If you had the pleasure of meeting Jolene you would never forget her. I met Jolene at McLean Junior High and we became close friends and remained friends for all these years. Jolene always had a smile for you and she was so kind and giving. She touched the lives of many people through the years. I know Jolene is resting in peace now and she passed feeling all the love shown to her by her children. She loved you with all her heart and she was so proud of you. You will always have her with you in your heart and all your many memories of your Mother.

I met Jolene many years ago when she worked in Nashville and soon learned she was one of the kindest and sweetest women ever. Cute, smart and friendly, it's no wonder she left her mark on all the projects she began and on all who were privileged to know her. Though all of us are saddened by her earthly departure, Heaven must be a happier place for her arrival.

Her son Gary and I became friends when they moved here to Tennessee back in the early 80's. I spent several nights at her house either eating a great meal, or just hanging out watching tv with Gary and some dates we had. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. I will treasure those memories forever.
