I am very sorry to hear of Bills passing and would like to offer my personal condolences to Beth and his family. We met several times in the 80's and once travelled to Italy together on a memorable trip to view some glass processing machinery.
He was a complete professional in the Curtainwall business and I shall always admire and relay his achievements to others.
Few could have completed the Reunion Centre and the 'Sky Hole' building, and others, in the very competent way he - and Olden & Co - did. Roy Offland, Float Glass Industies Ltd (Wright and Offland),

Beth and family, We were saddened to hear of Bill's death. I was just talking about him recently. What I remember best about Bill, is at the family get togethers, he didn't always have a lot to say, but once he made a crack back at Rusty, I think. It made everyone really laugh. And dad talked about this more than once. We all have great regard for Bill, & know you will miss him so very much. Our prayers and love are with all of you in the next few days, weeks & months.

I had the honor of meeting Mr. Swango in 1981 shortly after beginning my career in the glass and glazing industry. In the years that followed, I benefited from being around his business and listening to his words of wisdom! He will always play a role in my career in the industry that he loved and served so well. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends as we mourn the loss of this great man!

I am very privileged to have known Mr. Swango. My father, brother and myself have all worked with Mr. Swango at different times over the last 50 years. Mr. Swango would visit my office when we were working projects together, we always enjoyed discussing past jobs and events that happen over the years.
He will be missed.

For what I owe professionally, to what I learned about the curtain wall business - I owe to Bill Swango, my mentor. A part of him will always live in what he taught us.
