Obituary Condolences

ALMANZA, ANASTACIO (Ernest) beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away July 28, 2002 at the age of 82. He was born April 15, 1920 to Jose and Maria Avina Almanza. He proudly served our country in the Army-Air Force 1st Floating Air Depot during World War II with the rank of Sergeant. He worked over 20 years as a salesman for Smith Furniture and was a successful entrepreneur. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Linda Almanza, sons, Ernest (Kathy), Carlos (Janie), Richard (Nora), and Steven Marcus (Gracie), daughters, Mary L. Hernandez and Maritza Almanza, sisters, Catalina Puga and Ermila Gonzales, 13 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Contributions can be made to the Diabetes Foundation or the American Heart Association in memory of Anastacio Almanza. Visitation will be from 8 A.M. to 8 P.M. Wednesday, July 31, 2002 with a rosary at 7 P.M. at Hughes North Chapel. Funeral service will be 10 A.M. Thursday, August 1, 2002 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 3826 Gilbert, Dallas, Texas 75219.
